Angela and Gia wanted to gift their mom with photographs to celebrate the various stages of life they were in.

i asked them to each bring along an item that was important to them right now. gia brought along books to signify her teaching profession; harlow was angela’s “item” of choice; kathy brought flowers; and the quilt is something kathy and her friends always give as a gift to signify a huge milestone: babies, weddings, etc. they all wore a ring that reminded them of angela and gia’s dad, ron, who passed away a couple years ago. to see the love they have for him and how they’ve bonded together even more is really powerful and i felt really special to be asked to do this for them.

i loved doing a family session like this because it’s not often that you get updated photos of your family after the kids have grown. if you’re interested in booking a session, contact me!
